Youth Education (Alternative Choices for Teens/ACT)
Alternative Choices for Teens (ACT) is a youth education group for individuals under the age of 18 that have completed an assessment which indicates a need for substance abuse education. ACT is held at the Cedar Rapids Prevention Office quarterly each year. Sessions are scheduled for the first and second Tuesday from 6-10pm in the months of March, June, September, and December. For 2019, classes will be held on:
3/5, 3/12, 6/4, 6/11, 9/3, 9/10, 12/3, 12/10
The fee for clients referred to the ACT class is based on the sliding fee scale with the minimum fee being $6, and the maximum fee being $125.
